Last year, a single phone call changed my life: I was diagnosed with breast cancer. In an instant, my world shifted from “someday” to “right now.” While I have since completed my treatments and am officially cancer free, the experience left me with questions that would not let go: Why did this happen in the first place? And what can I do to ensure that it never happens again? This curiosity led me to the science of metabolic cancer recovery, and I began searching for ways to ensure it never returns by optimizing my body at the cellular level.
I originally bought this website year ago without a clear vision. Today, that vision is crystal clear. I am documenting my journey to the center of my own health – moving beyond standard advice to explore the root causes of metabolic health and longevity.
I am not a doctor or clinical nutritionist. I am a researcher by necessity and a survivor by choice. My goal is to turn my deep dives into mitochondrial science and metabolic flexibility into a roadmap for anyone else who is tired of “standard” and ready for “optimized.”
I want this to be more than a blog; I want it to be a community where we trade generic advice for real, data-driven knowledge. Let’s get healthy enough to live as long as possible and enjoy every single second of it.
Stop Guessing. Start Optimizing.
My cancer journey taught me that “average” health is not enough. If you are ready to move past generic advice and dive into the data that actually moves the needle on longevity, join the Healthality Community. Our Mission
In the era of information overload, Healthality serves as a signal in the noise. We transform clinical insights – from Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) trends to mitochondrial science – into actionable protocols that help you reclaim your energy, sharpen your focus, and extend your healthspan.
Information Gain Promise
In 2026, the internet is flooded with AI-generated health advice. Healthality is different. We will focus on Information Gain – providing unique perspectives, proprietary data snapshots and “hot takes” on the industry that you won’t find in a generic search result. For example, while the industry pushes supplements first, we prioritize mitochondrial health through light, temperature and timing.
Shelley Goldsberry | Founder & Lead Researcher
Shelley is the founder of Healthality and a dedicated researcher in the field of metabolic optimization. After a life-altering breast cancer diagnosis in 2025, Shelley transitioned from a passive patient to an active health architect.
Dissatisfied with standard “one-size-fits-all” recovery protocols, she dedicated herself to mastering the science of metabolic flexibility and mitochondrial health. Today, she uses her background in deep-dive research to bridge the gap between complex clinical data and daily actionable habits.
Based in Dallas, TX, Shelley is on a mission to help others move past the noise of information overload and reclaim their “Healthspan” through data-driven biohacking and ancestral wisdom.
Philosophy: “Data over dogma. Root causes over symptom management.”
Primary Focus: Mitochondrial dysfunction, CGM data analysis, and Time-Restricted Feeding (TRF).
Disclaimer:I am not a doctor. The information on Healthality is based on my personal experience and research into metabolic health. It is not intended as medical advice. Always consult with your oncology team before making changes to your protocol.
